Ready for Tomorrow

The Widdifield Lions Club takes pride in being recognized as one of the major clubs within the District, and as a leader in innovation and progress within the ideals of Lionism. The club is a consistent winner of awards from our District, and Lions International.

In April of 1999, with Widdifield spearheading District convention took place here in North Bay. This was the fifth convention by the Widdifield Club and attests to their abilities as organizers and hosts. At this convention, Past President and current Past District Governor, Lion Grace Kingsnorth of The Widdifield Club, was sworn in as District Governor for the year 1999-2000.

Fundraising projects are always uppermost in our minds, we constantly strive to attain revenue that can be turned back to those in need and/or deserving. We believe we must contribute to the future of our youth, thus our commitment to programs dealing with drug awareness, alcohol abuse, physical abuse, and crime of all types. This is true not only of our club, The Widdifield Lions, but every Lions Club in the world.

The Widdifield Club of North Bay enters the Millennium with a strong membership of men and women, from all walks of life, who are ready and willing to take up the challenge and prove that, indeed "WE CARE"!

Lions Clubs bring people together...
for friendship
for a better tomorrow.
